President Donald Trump faced echoing chants of “lock him up” at baseball’s World Series in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, as fans at Nationals Park turned the rallying cry used by his supporters to target Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election against Trump.
- Fans’ cheers for the salute to troops at Game 5 of the World Series quickly switched to boos when the Jumbotron cut to President Trump and his wife, Melania.
- According to Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs, Trump slipped in quietly after the first pitch, which he missed. He wasn’t announced on the loudspeaker and left in the eighth inning of the Washington Nationals vs. Houston Astros game.
